Nokia T20 Default Video Player

Hi ..I just recently purchased a Nokia T20 tablet which runs Android 11.
My problem is I cannot find any way to change the default video player...I want to us MX player as default and I have to select it each time I play a video.
i have checked setting..apps and notifications...see all apps.. but I cannot find a default video player listed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Settings > Apps > View All Apps.

Find MX Player in the apps list and tap on it. Scroll down until you see "Open by default". Tap it and that should allow MX to open video links.

When I do that the option to open by default isn't there.

The top two options are what I was referring to. You have them set the way they should be. But that's all you can do as Android's default apps feature is very limited in that only the messaging app, phone app, and browser are the only things that can have defaults set for them.
