Novo ADVANCED Half Screen?

Pl I know its 15 months old, but 7inch quad core, I like it.

went to boot it up and insteqad I got 1.2 a white screen and 1/2 black.

I can tell its booting because I can read it from a pc.

any ideas?

Is it a screen issue? a controller?

anyone heard a "siimple" fix?

It could be firmware but I've experienced weird touch screen glitches with a few Ainol tablets before and the touchscreens ribbon cable had become loose. I opened the tablet, re-seated the cable and everything was fine.
