I just read on the Tablet News section that a new version of Winamp for Android has just been put on Android Market. This is good news as I've used Winamp on my Windows desktop for many years and would be glad to have it on my tablet. But I get the feeling that even though a new version has been released it's still meant primarily for Android phones and that they haven't done any optimization at all for tablets. A week ago I posted a message on the Winamp for Android forum asking if it was available for tablets and never got a reply.
I've heard different opinions about whether phone-enabled Android apps really look that great on a tablet. What is the general feeling among users here about using apps really built for Android phones on Android tablets? And does anyone know anything specifically about Winamp?
