I have been searching for days looking for the answer to the problem with my Pandigital ereader. I tried to update the firmware by using the Open Platform.kit. Of course as with most other people, it caused my screen to go black and it will not boot back up. I hear noises but it will not start back up. I have done it all from flash, holding power/vol +, unpluging the battery, replugging it in, changing MICROSD Card, trying over and over again all type of firmware update and till this very day, NOTHING HAS WORKED! Has anyone found a solution other than taking it back? Someone gave it to my daughter, we have no receipt or a way to send it back. Any successful solutions would really help a lot!
