Periodic touch screen freezes?

Recently I've been having an issue with my touch screen (got it in August) . About once a day now it will hang; the screen will become unresponsive and I will be forced to toggle the screen power button off and on (not a restart) about 4-8 times to get it back to normal (responsive again). Anyone else have this issue? Know why? Remedy? Thanks

I don't know the reason but I also have this problem occasionally.

Sometimes it has to do with a program running in the background, making it sluggish. You could try doing a factory reset, or at least uninstalling programs one by one (you can always reinstall them) to see if that helps.

Thanks for suggestions. YEAH I think I'll just have to do a factory reset. It was lightening fast when I first got it; hopefully a reset will resolve my problems.
