Finally we get this Pipo U1 in hand, and get a chance to do the review.

Pipo U1 should be the first China tablet which build in Android 4.1 OS. It has a 7 inch IPS Capacitive Touch screen,1280*800 screen resolustion,178° view angle also 5 point touch.

Here is the basic specification for this PIPO U1:

1 CPU: Rockchip RK3066 Dual Core, Cortex A9 1.6Ghz; GPU: Quad Core Mail-400
2 1GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB Storage
3 Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean OS,Build in Google Play store;
4 Build in Bluetooth;
5 Support wifi 802.11 b/g/n;
6 Support external 3G USB Dongle;
7 Build in 2.0 MP Front Camera;
8 Battery:3250mA/3.7V
9 port include: DC PORT,Earphone Port,Micro SD Card slot,Mini USB Port

OK, let's get into the real review now:

1 PACKAGE

This PIPO U1 has very "sexy" package, the tablet is in a very think package, and the accessories is in another package.



The accessories include Manual, earphone, USB cable, OTG Cable, also one charger.
(PS:I forget to get the charger from the socket, so there is on charge in the following photos, but the real tablet accessories include the charger )

The size for this PIPO U1 is 18.4cm * 13cm * 6 cm and weight is about 326g.

The speaker is also build in the front face.


Micro SD Card slot, support 32GB external card.

Great pics, but does it have HDMI? And how is the Wifi connection with the metal Backing covering the antenna?

It has no HDMI port, about the wifi signal,it's good, i will find some test app and test for you guys.
