I've a Samsung tab 10.1 P5100 and have downloaded videos from video hub and when I tried to play these videos via my Samsung 40' LCD TV, it could not. It gave me message to the effect that the resolution wasn't compatible. Please can someone help by telling me how I can play these videos.

You could try make a new post with Samsung members here hope it helps
Samsung Galaxy Tab
Try changing your HDMI cable. Or you could look into you tab Settings for the resolution size and change if from there.
