I just bought 4 new tablets for my kids for Christmas, but after messing with them and doing some research, apparently in order for them to work how I originally wanted them to, they apparently need to be rooted. I have looked around but I am unsure which "root" to use to solve my problems (Not being able to utilize the "true" Android market and continuously losing my wifi connection)

Here are all the specifications of the Tablets

Model on back of unit says - BLY-806
Model in Settings says - WonderMedia WM8650
Android Version 2.6.32.9-default
Build number says - generic-eng2.2 Froyo Ver 1.5.1-20110708.105253

Please help! I want these working perfectly for Christmas for my children. I am pretty computer savvy, but step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated so I don't mess these up! I am also including the specifications below from the webpage that I bought them from if that helps any also.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Thanks in advance!

Hi jktsummers, "rooting" doesn't exactly work like that. Each device has a unique method and some devices may not be able to be rooted at all. I am moving you post to the WonderMedia section where you may be able to get some specific help.
