Polaroid Pmid901 Stuck in Boot

my polaroid tablet is stuck seeming in its boot process. when powered on it flashes the polaroid logo twice, before coming to a polaroid logo with a loading indicator but never goes beyond there. i have tried to research this problem, but to no avail. I have gone as far as to try to use LiveSuite to reflash the OS img from Polaroid Tablet Support Site, but again I cannot get it to work. LiveSuite seems to not be seeing my tablet. Any other info? Suggestions? Anything?

yes sorry i left that out. that was of course the first thing i tried.
