Power Button Broken

The power button on my tablet is broken. I was having problems with it and the metal disc covering where the power button is, fell off. I was able to use a pair of metal tweezers to get the screen to turn on, but then the tablet died and to get it started, obviously you have to be able to hold down on the button to get it to power on, and nothing seems to be working. I guess the tweezer only cause a short jolt to make the screen come on. I emailed Samsung about getting a replacement or something, but they won't answer now that I said I don't want to ship the tablet to Samsung. What options do I have other than taking it to a repair shop?

Purchasing a replacement button off ebay and replacing it yourself, which would naturally require disassembly of the entire device to get to the motherboard so you can do the job. Plus, it also requires soldering skills. You'd be better off taking it to the service center, unless you know how to use a soldering iron.
