Problem with Sync after standby

Greetings,

I have a very annoying problem with this little Dropad D10 tablet running Android 2.2

When I turn it on, it works great ans syncs the emails, facebooks, reader. everything BUT if I let it go to sleep it won't sync anymore when I wake it up. I tried everything I can see even adding a syncing app. When I wake it up, it's done syncing until I reboot it.

This tablet has no 3g radio. Only wifi

Any ideas anyone.

I have the exact same issue on my Dropad A8. Gmail sync works fine but once the device goes to sleep and I wake it up, it will never sync again (even manually). I have to reboot it to get it to sync again once and then it happens again when it goes to sleep and I wake it up. It is extremely annoying and effectively makes the device useless for gmail. Anyone with any advice? I have 4 gmail accounts in this device and when it works, it works well. It's only once it sleeps and wakes up that it stops working.
