First time handling a tablets. Have had computers experience.

Bought from China a new Ramos W16v3.0, Cortex A9, (1024x768, memory 16gb / 1gb...)

Tablet came with W16v3.0_ICS.W16ref.20120416 firmware.
Played with it for 2 days and found the wifi not reliable and checked the 'about tablet status' and found some info not mentioned.
Searched the Ramos site and found a newer firmware W16v3.0_ICS.W16ref.20120502. This is W16ref.20120406 update. I missed look the last number 0 and 1.

Began the upgrade, screen booted into text mode and said 'Upgrading ....'. Screen went blank and never lighted up again.
Try all buttons and reset no avail.

The screen is always black BUT I can feel the power pack is warm after leaving it aside.

I contacted the manufacture (after sales services), sending email messages but no one is at home.

Can anybody help.

Nothing happened on my tablet.
I opened the tablet and shorted the pins 7 & 8 on the NAND chip. Connect the USB and win7 found other devices and ask to install "M3-CHIP" device driver.

My box says it is W16v3.0 BUT the m/b inside says Ramos v2.0 ??? dated 2012.02.15
