Remote Desktop Connection

I have a PC with windows XP on it that I am not sure I can install a client for a remote desktop app. Are there any apps that I can use to connect to the remote desktop connection that XP uses? The few apps I have thought would work seem to require their client to be installed on my pc.

There are quite a few remote apps/programs available that allow you to take control of an XP system but AFIK they all require a client on the PC.

I use an app named "2x Client" for RDP connections. Note that you must have a Pro version of Windows to support RDP connections (Home Edition doesn't support RDP).
