Has anyone had luck removing some of the installed samsung stuff. Like the store and the browser.
I am quickly running low on internal storage. And would like to explore striping down my tablet.

Removing apps in system will not help your low storage situation. A MicroSD card formatted as adaptable storage however will. Now, as to why removing system apps doesn't help, it all has to do with an Android device's file system structure. In the case of Android, system and data folders are actually labels for different partitions. Storage freed in one partition cannot be moved or used in another partition.

Now, if you were running low on RAM, disabling a system app you're not using and then deleting its data will both free up RAM for use with other apps as well as enable you to install more apps. Deleting an app from /system is no longer recommended, and as of Android 10, cannot be done at all on stock Android. Stock versions of Android 10 and later have the system partition formatted as EXT4 dedup, effectively write protecting the system partition.
