Today the limits have be pushed to 387MHz. I see I can go higher to the max is 500MHz. ROM would need to be tweaked to allow Root access.

Download SetCPUv2.02
Next Install it over the prior one on this ROM
Open and scroll down to the last line for setcpu.txt
Next open SetCPUv2.02 and move the scroll bar to 400MHz (387MHz) match the image above.
Select Performance
Select Set on Boot

Thank you tipster for posting this ROM. From my experience with the ROM so far I have found the following:

1. The sceen seems to be more responsive to touch especially the keyboard which is now very snappy.
2. SetCPU is crashing (forced close) when setting frequency to 387
3. The ABOUT my device menu in the SETTINGS menu is crashing whenever it is pressed
4. I can't find the option to use the "auto" screen orientation switch in the SETTING - I can only change the screen orientation by pressing the Notification Bar
5. The BogoMIPS on the device using Android System Info under System/CPU went down from 187 on the previous ROM (Flytouch 256MB 1.9_88 rooted with market installed v0.2) to 134 on the current ROM (Flytouch 256M 1.9.1 fast (350MHz) furious)
6. Some icons/shortcuts on the main screen (in Chinese) and the icons are not linked to the software - I deleted them.
7. Ethernet option under settings is missing
8. There was an issue with the chinese keyboard but it can be easily rectified by changing input option and reginal settings.

See I use mysettings.apk to mange rotate, screen brightness and timeout from 1to 10. You got to download SetCPU v2.02 I've provided the link that will fix the crashing on SetCPU. That's good info on #8 though. The CPU is 300MHz there is a datasheet for this CPU. But it can be OC to 400MHz (387.3MHz). Some say it can get 533MHz, but I can't see it happening now. How don't know about you but my battery charging up 350MHz isn't like it was at 174MHz. So going to 387.3MHz had fixed my issue.

Might want to try this: Use it at your own risk though with SetCPU.

Open text editor and copy paste the following into it.

66001,99001,133001,166002,200002,233002,250002,266 002,300002,333002,333003,366002,400002,433002,4660 02,500003,533003

Save it as setcpu.txt and place it in the root of SDcard. (note it might not work for you)

just one negative point on my side: I can't find the hibernate function ... has it been removed ? does it mean you have to turn it off and reboot it every time you use it cause the boot time is still long (even though reduced by half)

It looks like it was removed due to users getting error from it.

hello
i just dowloaded the file link you posted. i unzipped it to my SD card and put the SD card in my flytouch. I powered it up and it said booting from SD. Then it said it was done in like 5 seconds and it said to remove SD and reboot. So i removed the card and powered it down and back on and its stuck in the black android screen. Please help, now what do I do?
