hey everybody, as you all noticed, it's been a while since i've updated my roms, fear not. i've been very busy with real life. Also some of you might of noticed my website joenilan.com is down and so are the download links, really sorry about that, my host/friend was unhappy with their host and is currently in the process of changing them, as well as creating a android tech site for the latest and greatest (which i am designing and also apart of) which will be released in the very near future.

So that being said, i hope your enjoying my roms and i will get back to updating VERY soon.
i'm sure all of you have seen tri_zet's rom , don't be afraid to check his out. he has done some very nice stuff.

Not Working/Bugs:

-Downloading from the market when i first setup my tablet seemed
slow and horrible and some didn't seem like they were ever going
to start, after a few reboots and a full sync, everything is running
pretty much smoothly, few snags here and there but nothing too bad.

-I've gotten some weird force closes from the stock browser...
just install an alternative from the market.

Flash First!

then you flash this!
New Recovery: CWM 2.5.1.8 by goodoane

1. Copy Ideos S7 Froyo[/B] v1.0 Stable[/URL] to INTERNAL sd card

2. Wipe/Data Factory Reset
3. flash with Clockworkmod

ROM REBOOTS AFTER FIRST BOOT

Apps2sd Instructions
- Ext Partition MUST be on the internal SD card formatted as ext4 as a primary partition after your fat32 partition. Use easeus partition manager.

- Some apps & games like Angry Birds or Pocket Legends install to the sd card right from the market,
this bypasses the roms a2sd and uses froyo's which we all know eventually fills up space.

So what you have to do is:
Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>SD card
Move all listed back to tablet. Reboot.

I was having a great deal of difficulty with my wifi. I could see my home network, but I couldn't actually connect. I didn't have a problem with Ivyvisors custom 2.1 build, and I didn't see any caveats listed about wifi.

Should I reflash and try again, or is there a known bug with wifi?

that is weird, i've had no problems with wi-fi and i've heard good things from others, try and reflash again,
just do a full wipe, System, Data, Cache, Boot & Dalvik, and then flash and see what hapens.

I had same problem when i tried this rom - would identify the network, connect for a split second then disconnect. i did not try to reflash. I did wipe/reset/wipe/wipe and install rom, but i'm going to have another go at it tonight to see if it was just something i did or did not do. Otherwise, it seems pretty good.

Wifi works for me, but as others have noted no gps or 3g. (the 3g isn't a huge issue as I don't tend to use 3g on the device.)

Other things that don't work, is the market or signing in to google.

But it's a start =)

Now if only I could get my hands on the full firmware release =)

can someone help me, when i try to flash the 2.2 firmware, it reboots then shows a android little dude, and a big triangle with an "!" inside of it. can someone help me install this PM me or email me at [email protected] thanks in advance

You need to do a wipe (format system,format data,format cache).
And just a short information this rom is a little bigger for s104 version and is installing with a few errors(because the original rom use different partition and we do not have the misc partition) ,I did made one rom that is installing without errors creating the right symlinks and replaceing the default launcher to make the rom smaller.
I can upload this if you want but I sugest to wait..
If you wait a few hours we will have the original update.

errors? really, when i install i don't see anything. i have the BB-s7-104 version. what do you mean? also is it for both the odex and deodexed versions?

what do you mean Original update? and can you tell me how to wipe all my stuff? im not sure how. back onto the topic of original update. do you mean the one huawei will realease? or do you mean a new thing.
