1. Rename the provided file to update.zip
2. Copy the file to the root of your external sd card
3. Turn off the device; and press power while holding the volume up button - don't touch anything until the device reboots itself
4. Voila - you've got ics
From what I can see this is a fully working rom - unfortunately you'll lose the root access

hello .....i have acer a100 and i dont have root on my tablet.......i want to instal ICS but i cant because when i copy the file on my external sd card and and i reboot my tab and.....when she try boot the ics ( update.zip) the logo of android have an exclamation sign..... and he cant not upgrade the android ....what is the problem....pls explaine someone in detailes.......and sorry for my poor english.... how i root my table...because i try a lot but i can...pls explaine ...tnx..... in avans
