Samsung sm 807 touch issues

Hi,

I have an samsung 10.5 inch 807 tablet. The problem is sometimes the touch screen just doesnt respond. The home button, power button and volume buttons work. The touch freezes. However, if i press the power button and open the tab again, the touch works normally but its frequently happening now the touch just freezes and i have to use the power button again !!

Any help would be appreciated

The best thing I can suggest it to try a factory reset to see if software is at fault. Your problem is a little vague. It may be that you simply have a hardware problem. If you try the factory reset, (back up your important media first), that will/should tell you if the problem is an app or hardware.

That is the funny part. The touch problem was repeating ALOT but after a factory reset it isnt repeating as much. I looked around and most users have received the 5.0.2 are reporting similar issues.
