Samsung intends to broaden its Galaxy Note series with an 8-inch Galaxy Note tablet, according to sources in the know.:p

SamMobile has leaked out the specifications for the Samsung GT-N5100 with 8-inch, that has supposedly already been named the Galaxy Note 8.0.

The tablet will allegedly function an 8-inch 1280×800 TFT (Super Clear LCD) screen, 5 -megapixel rear-shooter, 1.3-megapixel front-shooter, 2 GB of RAM, 4600 mAH battery, 16GB and 32GB versions + Micro SD slot, and S-Pen efficiency.

Samsung will even deliver both a Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G variant of the Galaxy Note 8.0 and each can operate on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, that all of us believe are going to be overlaid with Samsung’s infamous TouchWiz UI.

:rolleyes:Samsung’s recent Note line includes the first-generation Galaxy Note which is noted for ushering inside the era of bigger handsets, the 5.3-inch Galaxy Note II, as well as 10-inch Galaxy Note II tablet set to compete with the iPad.

The 8-inch Note is definitely the corporation’s opportunity to take on sub-$300 tablets which can be below 8-inches — namely Apple’s iPad mini.

Based on the record, Samsung will certainly announce the unit at Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona at the end of February. Not sure on pricing as well as availability, however , you guess Pocket-lint come in attendance to take anyone newest from the show floor.
