Sorry another what Tablet do I have question.

Hi all,
I have an M701-R Tablet, which I bought second hand (it has a remote control), but I don't know if it is HY or other. It has 3.08 Gbyte Nand Ram so I think that that makes it an HY model, but that isn't 4 Gbytes, so I am really confused as to which software I should use to upgrade it.
The SD card sticks out a bit, so does that make it an earlier model?
Any help would be much appreciated as I'd hate to brick the thing!

can you post pics? also, remember when looking at RAM, subtract the ROM image from what you have. That may be why you don't see 4Gb

The available storage on the 4gb tablets is less than 4gb. The amount you stated is consistent with a HY tablet.

Thanks for the info. I'll try flashing the HY 2.3 OS and see how I go. I just need to borrow someone's Windows computer to do it as I run Linux. I'll do it this weekend. Cheers!
