Speakers Not Working, Earphones Work Fine

Hello everyone, i have been using my tablet for about a year now and today i was using it as usual. I played a game, watched a video, left tablet alone for around 10 minutes and when i got back my sound was broken. So i havent installed any new apps, it hasnt been hit, and the following problem occured: my speakers have no sound tho when i put my earphones in, everything is normal. I have discovered that my speakers are not broken because when i open music player and play a song, if i lock screen it plays loud and clear but when i unlock there is no sound at all. I have tried the SoundAbout app after and nothing changed. Any ideas, all help would be appreciated.

Hey Mary. Welcome to the forum.
If your headphones work and your speaker doesn't, a contact in the jack could be stuck.
Try putting the headphone plug in and removing it several times. That could free up the contact.
