Stuck on Android Screen

Try turning the tablet completely off for a minute. Hold the on/off button till you get a shutdown message and say yes.
If that doesn't work, factory reset: http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/android-tablet-q/62022-how-do-i-factory-reset-my-tablet.html
If there are no instructions there specifically for your tablet, try some of the methods for other tablets. One of them will probably work and you won't hurt anything by trying as long as the tablet has a good charge or is plugged in during the reset.

so, tablet turned itself off. follow instruction at link again.
This time, very quickly, screen says erasing cache something erasing data.
something about a .zip file and sd boot.
get an android w/ gears spinning, follwed by this:
i think something bad happened.
