The storage and memory status of My S7 after flash ROM

Update to INDO 2.2.2, and then flash Joe's ROM (stable V1.1) and install all applications, I get phone storage as 105MB.

Today I modify Joe's ROM (replace Dophine Browser, delete applications in /data/app), and flash again. Now the status of memory shows as:

Applications installed : Total 134 (System: 73, User: 61)

Phone storage: Total 160MB, Available 126MB
System storage:Total 250MB, Available 111MB
System Cache: Total 33MB, Available 31.87MB
Memory: Total 409MB, Available 287MB, idle: 68.47MB

The data is reported by System Info Pro V.1.6.4.

I check the storage of SD (a2sd, i.e. EXT2 partition) with Titanium Backup. It reports Total 479MB and 187MB available. I think all 61 user application are exactly installed in SD card. Thank for APP2SD+.

I try use LINK2SD but can not get the same result as APP2SD+.

Just share my hard working result during last week.

I just wonder why the storage can increase after RE-FLASH ?

i actually found this out myself, flashing over an already loaded rom, my storage went back to 160 and my apps were still there... still trying to figure out why it does that... some files have to be installing somewhere or something and is not getting erased or removed properly... not sure. good find though.

Joe's ROM use APP2SD+ instead of original APP2SD inside 2.2.2. APP2SD just store APP in the SD card but use lot of phone storage for data. You may google the difference between it.

Since the update of Map and Dolphin Browser I change the ROM and re-flash again. Same I get more storage than before.

Applications; System=70 User=67

Phone Storage: Total 150MB, Free 130MB
System Storage: Total 250MB, Free 116MB
System Cache: Total 33MB, Free 31.87MB
Memory:Total 409MB, Free 269MB, Idel: 79.88MB
