We have a RCA tablet model RCT6303W87DK running Android 5.0. I am able to log into the owner account just fine but my daughter has forgot her swipe code to login to her account on the pad. She took a bunch of photos and has other data that we would like to get to but cannot get into her account to get them. Is there a way to bypass the swipe code lock on her account to gain access without losing all her data or the data on the owners account? Does the owner have a way to change her password?

Switch to her account.
Connect the tablet to a PC.
Swipe from the top of the screen down to expand notifications.
Select the "Device is charging" option and change to "File transfer".
You should now be able to copy her files.
If that doesn't work, a factory reset may be the only alternative. Generally the pattern lock on the lock screen cannot be bypassed, though with some devices too many attempts will generate a password request prompt. Owners have no special privileges on an Android tablet, so the owner cannot deactivate a second account's pattern lock.
