I'm new here, got a Thomson MID1002 10.1inch Tablet for Christmas with JellyBean 4.1.1 on it. Hoping to learn more and upgrade Op system.

Thanks Cali, emailed the support site in new Zealand about my generic Chinese Tablet, they're checking to see what OEM it is, looking forward to then playing around with Rom flashing.

Yes I had problems with it freezing and going into a boot loop. Took it back, seems many were returned.
