Touch screen not working!!

hi I'm new to this but my sons Samsung tab 4 needed a new battery so thought I would try my self. I have changed that and now the touch screen won't work I have changed the screen but still no luck what else could the problem be please help thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum

I'm not sure anyone can help much without putting hands on the tablet. The ribbon cables that typically attach the screen, along with the connections, are pretty fragile. You may also have something else going on with the motherboard.
