Trouble downloading Android Market Updates

Can anybody help with this problem. I have a number of app updates ready to download, but when I try to download them I get a message saying 'download unsuccessful'. This also applies to any new apps that I try to download. My tablet is running Android 2.1 - update 1

im having same problem. anytime i try to download any apps it just says download unsuccesful

Tried resetting the tablet ? Was it originally android 2.1 or did you upgrade it ?

Same problem as original post on mine. When I go to about the following says the spec is :
Firm ware version 2.2
Kernel Version 2.6.32.9
Build number Ver.2.2.0128.20101213-162053

All the other stuff works fine. just want to put a few new apps on it.

Thanks for your reply. It was originally 2.1 and was perfectly OK until about 5 days ago. I've not tried resetting the tablet, mainly because I would not know how to go about it.

Amazing, I have just tried to download some updates and guess what....they are now downloading and installing. I have done nothing at all to the tablet. But thanks to all of you who responded.
