Twitter quits, then doesn't uninstall

Twitter came installed on my Curtis Klu LT7033. I already had an account, and used it on the tablet for 2 days to tweet, read tweets, and follow people. Now today, all of a sudden, I went to Tweet (I was already logged in) and the app crashed, saying "Unfortunately, Twitter has stopped". I launched it again, and can read tweets, follow links, etc. but not Tweet myself without it crashing. I thought I would Uninstall with ApkInstaller, then reinstall. But when uninstalling, it says "Uninstall not successful". This is very frustrating. I hope my whole Klu experience doesn't go like this.....but I have a bad feeling....

Probably can't uninstall the app without root if it resides in system/apps. Try clearing the cache and see if that helps.

Ok, I figured out how to do that and relaunched twitter, but still can't Tweet. So I went back in to Settings, then Apps, and cleared its data too. But that has not helped either
