U.S. import tax on MID's

I was wondering if anyone knew if there is/how much import fees are associated with receiving a mid from china to the usa?

Hi, u can let the people who sends you the MID send it as gift, if so, there will be no charge for tax.

There is no import tax for electronics into US. Into Canada there is.

Just have them mark your tab as a "gift" or "product sample". Marking the value as <200 wouldn't hurt either. Customs site says limit for no duty fees is $200, but honestly I've never encountered a problem. Just have 'em mark it gift.

For individuals importing a computer from China for personal use their are no customs fees or tariffs.
