Do you guys see any uses for the Slim Port on the Nexus 7/13 besides basic audio and visual feed to a TV? If you just want to listen to music, you are better off just using a stereo cord from the headphone jack to the TV's or stereo's audio-in connections, like you would with an MP3 player. The HDMI adapter is a different thing, tho.
I was thinking that maybe you could plug in an infrared transmitter, and control a TV, VCR, or other device.
It's too bad you can't connect things to the Nexus 7. For example, to collect data (via serial transfer from another device) in the field where a notebook PC would be inconvenient to carry.
