I have a Voyo Q101 Android Tablet that I bought for $40 off of Craigslist about 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately when I Bought it I didnt check if it the passcode they told me worked. Either they told me the wrong the passcode or I forgot it.

The Problem:
I tried to enter the passcode so many times, that I am at the: To Many Pass Code Attempts, Please enter gmail user name and password to unlock. When I tried calling the person I bought it from, their number was disconnected.
I have been trying to do hard reset and enter it into recovery mode. But I cant, it just goes to the screen with the little android guy.
To hard reset it is power and volume down. Recovery mode will not when come up when I try to tap any combination, or even tap the android guy.
I also tried to connect it to my friends laptop and use some software to root it and reinstall the os that way. But the laptop will not detect or download and install the driver for RK2918.

I am very new to tablets, so please, is there a simple way to do this. I tried pretty much everything i found online.
Here are the specs of my tablet. (I found the specs off of a website.)
