What's the difference between Android 1.16 and version 1.7.4

Like is 1.7.4 part of 1.16, is 1.7.4 same as version 1.16 +1?


I'm confused, what do these version numbers mean???

Class,

1.7.4 refers to the manufacturer's firmware version. Chances are its running Android 1.6. I'm guessing you have a rebranded flytouch, as those regularly ship with a 1.7.4 firmware. There is a firmware upgrade available for the device; however, it removes Google services (and is supposed to be faster and more stable).
