When and Where Was My Tablet Made?

Is there any information in the tablet that will tell you when or where the device was made? All I can see is the kernel or OS version. If you know, then maybe we can get an idea of which tablets to avoid buying or which ones have the problem with the screen de-sentitizing.

My NEW Nexus 7/2 tablet is only a week old, and already the screen is a little funny. Just after I updated the OS to KOT49H...

I don't think I will ever want a tablet that's bigger than 7 inches, o it will fit in my pocket. Anything bigger will block my view in the car. Besides, I liked having my Palm PC hooked to my belt. Can you envision a person walking around with an iPad hooked on the belt?

I like to carry my smartphone in my pocket. My 10 inch tablet would be used mainly in the living room on my recliner. I guess that I could stuff a 10-incher in my pocket, but it would definitely freak out the ladies.
