WiFi Versus Bluetooth

I have a new 9" sim tablet and I am having a problem with WiFi and Bluetooth. Wifi works great on its own and Bluetooth also works great on its own, but if I have WiFi working and I want to plug in a Bluetooth Speaker so I can watch a film on youtube and listen through the speaker. Ho no when I connect and pare the Bluetooth it switches the WiFi off saying no network. I tried it both ways bt first then Wifi and it still don't work.
Any one got any ides. The tablet is using jelly bean 4.22
