windows7 won't recognize my nook color

after I plug in the USB slot, it keeps on saying "USB device not recognized" in the tray bar is there anything I can do about this issue?

it seems the problem happens only at the front USB slots, it worked after I plugged the cable at the back of the PC

Glad to hear you've got it working now. I've read that the rear slots often provide more power than the front ones do, maybe that's why the rear one worked.
