won't turn on unless plugged in

i got a coby kyros mid8125-4g. the light came on saying its charged. so i unplugged it and tried to turn it on and it wont turn on. so i plugged it in again and turned it on. on the screen its says charged and the battery indicator is all green. when i unplugged it, the tablet just shuts down. what do i do. could ya please help me.

Assuming you've used the reboot button to no effect, the next step would be a factory reset.

Make sure you back up your data first though.

This could be a battery issue as well.....If I am not mistaken the system looks at VOLTAGE and not the capasity or amp hours so the voltage may be OK but the amount of "power" to maintain power to the unit may not be strong enough....
