X5A no sound on hdmi

I have just purchased a X5A with telechips 8902 processor. I cannot get sound via the hdmi cable. Any ideas?

Mine works out of the box, #348 firmware.

Either your TV doesn't support it, or you don't have the correct firmware.

This is only from memory, no link or direct reference. I remember reading the Telechips 8902 has an issue with Dolby and HD audio. No issues with the video encoding. But something about audio rendering. You may have a compatibility issue of the audio. That is why it may or may not work on some TVs. The HDMI for some TVs render the sound data differently. This could be a mish-mash. But it would make sense.
