First, I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum, since I don't know where this tablet model belongs to in here.
A friend of mine wanted me to get a A-Link 3G Turbo USB Modem working on his Android tablet, Y-1009 (YAMAY). I didn't know what Firmware upgrade to do, but I followed this ROM guide over here: http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...android2-1-stable-smooth-fast-unofficial.html
Now, when I boot it up, it's stuck on a black screen with a small "ANDROID" text in the middle.
So, my question is, how can I restore the tablet back to working order? Or is it possible to install an even newer version of Android on it and get that USB Modem working or perhaps a normal Linux on it?
