Zeki tablet freezing, and showing lines in screen

we bought a zeki tablet (7") two weeks ago at Sears, it was working great until two days ago and now it freezes on the title screen and when you do get it going it will work fine for a while then freeze again or the screen gets all distroted. anyone else have this problem? do i just have a bad tablet or is there a fix for this? We have reset to factory specs, still does it. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We purchased this tablet for our son for his birthday on 7/20 and by 7/24 the screen was distorted and the tablet would not function. I returned it to the store I purchased it at on 7/25 and received a new one...now on 7/29 the new one does the same thing...sooooo frustrating! It's a great tablet....if it would just work!
