acer a500 flashing light

hi all 1st post here hope its in the right place lol

ive got an acer a500 and when i plug in my car charger the power button flashes orange and white, is it ment to do this? as when i plug it into the mains charger at home it lights up orange and doesent flash.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Yes that is absolutely normal. Orange means that is charging and white that is on stand by mode.

ok thanks just looked at it now and its more a white than orange but if its ment to do that thats ok lol thanks for the info

I thought I read one time that if you send the Acer the wrong amount of power it would flash white like that. I could be mistaken though.

How would you possibly "send the acer the wrong amount of power"?

Orange means charging.
White means trying to access the net for checking mail, messages, facebook, market updates, etc.

Perfectly normal/
