Best Tablet for College?

hi there im looking for a good tabket for college..im going to college to study criminal justice in arts..my budget is 500$

My suggestion it to look at the Samsung Galaxy Note series and see what the Microsoft Surface tablets being released at the end of the month are like. I think having a stylus with digitizer is the key feature for a college tablet.
