So I just ordered a menotek flexible keyboard on the advice from best buy. Will this work with my tablet right out of the box or do I need an app first?

As pbrauer said - blueinput is the app you need. Also, do a search on the forum using menotek and blueinput to find past posts & threads explicitly on using these with the S7. Works but there a couple of gotchas if you're an Android newb like me.
