dead pixel

my new a81g has a dead pixel,my suppyer says a firmware update will proberly fix this but i cannt see that this will do so,has anyone got any info that this will fix it

Sometimes pixels get stuck, for this symptom you can gently rub over the effected pixel. I have no idea why it is supposed to work.

dead pixel is hardware problem , but 1-2 dead pixel or light pixel is allowed in this area
