I don't like using the Face book app. Don't get all the data.
Whenever I use the browser for facebook it tries to go to the mobile page and I get a no connection error.
On my driod phone there is a way to make sure the browser shows the real web page and not the mobile one.
Any fix for that?

it's been covered before, but this is a summary

Open the browser
In the url type about:debug
Press go, but don't expect any response
Now tap the menu thingie on the. Upper left corner of the browser window - four horizontal lines.
In that menu you will see a menu item called settings
In settings there will be a new option called debug.
In there is an option for UAString (user agent string)
It allows several choices. Try desktop.

It's not a perfect fix, because it's all or nothing, not website by website.
And the setting sometimes reverts.

ive tried the "about:degug" solution and its very hit and miss for facebook
the best solution ive found and so far has worked 100% for me is use the "dolphin hd browser " from the market

And some sites give you a cookie, and then give you the mobile view even if the browser is set for desktop. I found I sometimes had to delete all cookies if the desktop setting had reverted and I visited a cookie giiving site before noticing.

Resetting the browser a couple times a day and delering cookies was just too much bother for me. I also now use Dolphin HD and am quite happy with it.
