Got my update to 4.1.1 today!!!!!

Hi, Gang!

Just finished updating. I was checking out something on my A700. Decided to check if there was any available system update (was running 4.0.4). And it said yes. I downloaded the 270+ MB update... and after installing it, voila... I'm running 4.1.1.

OK. First comment... 7Digital keeps crashing... Pfff... and it's built in. Can't remove it.

Also, but that's unchanged from 4.0.4, sensitivity on the border of the touchscreen is bad. Buttons on the edge (right or left) have to be touched more towards the inside of the screen... wonder if that can be adjusted...

That's not good about the touchscreen....Makes me worry it's a problem with our screens and not the software. Seems like a pretty limited problem. I've had issues all along.

Just got my update about twenty minutes ago. Seems my screen response was a software issue... My tablet has never been this responsive to touch, actually. Even my corners are working.

Will it also be available for A500? I owned my iconia A500 about one year and now i still run with honeycomb. I couldnot even update to ICW. This device was bought in Japan.

I believe Acer has stated that the A500 will NOT get Jelly Bean.
