Were your apps installed in English? I heard that for some of the tablets that come from china have apps shown in chinese.

Yes, It was installed in English. The manual included was in Chinese and English.
There are no chinese apps on my device.

Everything in English on mine from ChinaOnlineShop24. It came out of the box set up for U.S. use. No language problem.
