HDMI Adapter

I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with any of the HDMI adapters available on Amazon.

i dont think the tab 3 8.0 has an hdmi port.

Samsung sells an adapter for the USB port that converts to a hookup to HDMI. There's numerous variants on Amazon that are cheaper. I was just wondering if anyone had luck with them.

Well in the interest of getting something that actually works, I bought the adapter from Samsung. Works fine, my only criticism is that it requires the power adapter be plugged in for it to function.

I guess that it's not that surprising, since you purchased it from Samsung.

MHL adapters are small adapters that convert a usb port to a useable HDMI port to display whats on your tablet on your tv or computer. These adapters require extra voltage to function so all of these mhl adapters require to be plugged in to work regardless of OEM manufacturer.
I recommend the Auvio branded MHL adapters or if your device has a specific made OEM MHL adapter, grab one.
