Just got my first tablet device, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Had a couple of android phones before, currently using a Galaxy S4.

Looking forward to asking lots of silly questions!

Carmen, if its a video about your tablet, it may be in Demo mode. If it is, go to Settings / Display and see if there is an option to remove the demo in sleep mode.

Hi Carmen,

If you press and let go of the power button (don't hold it) the screen should turn off. Pressing and let go of the power button again should retun you to the lock screen.
