Hi, I have a mac laptop and am trying to figure out the best way to rip my dvds to be able to play on my Nook HD. Does anyone know the best settings for handbrake to take advantage of the high resolution of a nook HD and to fill the screen? Any recommendations on a simple mac dvd ripper to take just the movie files and not all the previews and other junk?

I can't use DVD Catalyst because my computer is Mac, not Windows. There is one other program I found with settings for Nook HD, but it costs $40 and that's out of my budget now.

I'm thinking the best way would be to use a dvd ripper and find the best Hand Brake settings.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Handbrake is a nice program but can be tad obtuse. Most of the high res settings were intended for 40"+ screens. I'm fairly certain higher resolutions would simply make the file bigger but would not necessarily make it display better on such a small screen.
