How can I upgrade my Impression Android Tablet from Android OS 2.2 to higher?

I've looked around and searched many places, yet im still stuck and a bit lost as to how to go about it. I need some help on upgrading my 7 Impression Android Tablet from a android OS 2.2 to higher. My tablet is running slow and i want to update it.

Not every tablet can be updated. Yours might be one of the unlucky ones.
